Data Sharing Agreement

Last updated: June 2026

This summary explains how Weyn shares candidate personal data with employer clients during the recruitment process, and the safeguards both parties commit to.

Parties

Weyn acts as a recruitment intermediary between candidates and employer clients. Where required by law, Weyn and the client may operate as independent or joint controllers.

What data is shared

Only information relevant to the role: name, contact details, CV, work history, right-to-work status, references and notes from screening. Sensitive data is shared only where lawful and necessary.

Purpose

To enable the client to assess suitability, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions. Data is not to be used for unrelated marketing or profiling.

Safeguards

  • Transferred over secure channels.
  • Restricted to client staff involved in the hiring decision.
  • Retained only for the duration of the recruitment process unless the candidate is hired.

Candidate rights

Candidates retain all rights set out in our Privacy Policy and may withdraw consent or request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@weyn.com.

Incidents

Any suspected breach involving shared data must be notified between Weyn and the client without undue delay so affected candidates can be informed where required.

This page summarises Weyn's standard arrangements. Specific commercial engagements may be governed by a separately signed Data Sharing Agreement with the client.
